Special Olympics Action Coming to Colorado Springs

Special Olympics Colorado and Colorado Springs Sports Corp have been partnering together for the past two years to bring more inclusive sport activities for children and adults with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Colorado Springs Area.

In 2022 Special Olympics Colorado had individuals participate in the Rocky Mountain State Games. Several cyclists participated in the 719 Ride. In 2023, we will have more cyclists taking part in the 719 Ride. In addition, the Rocky Mountain State Games will provide a unique opportunity for Special Olympics athletes by co-branding an existing Special Olympics event as part of the RMSG!!

This year the Front Range Regional Bocce and Softball Tournament will serve as 2 events in the RMSG giving lots of Special Olympics participants the chance to receive both Special Olympics recognition, as well as, RMSG participation. 

The event will be held on July 29 from 8-4pm at Memorial Park
