Registration is now open for the 2022 Rocky Mountain State Games (RMSG), Colorado's largest multi-sport festival! Athletes of all ages and abilities have a chance to go for gold in 32 sports!

The 21st annual Rocky Mountain State Games will primarily be held July 22-24 & 29-31 at premier venues across the Pikes Peak region including the United States Air Force Academy, Norris Penrose Events Center, Xfinity Sports Arena and more.

With more than 11,000 athletes participating last year, the 2022 event has grown to include several new sports, including: Cornhole, Cycling with 719Ride, DriTri, 3v3 Soccer, and Flag Football.

Also this year, several athlete favorites are returning to the State Games that were previously paused due to COVID restrictions. Returning sports include: 5v5 Basketball, Field Hockey, Powerlifting, Racquetball, and Slow Pitch Softball.

Since its debut in 2002, the RMSG has attracted nearly 230,000 spectators and more than 153,000 athletes. More than half of those athletes have come from outside El Paso County, supporting The Sports Corp's mission of driving economic development in the region.

"The Sports Corp is incredibly grateful to its dedicated family of sponsors, partners and volunteers who make this unique event possible," said Sports Corp President & CEO Megan Leatham. "The community-wide support and engagement in the Rocky Mountain State Games enables athletes of all ages to play, compete and achieve their own individual athletic goals with a sense of strong comradery and sportsmanship."
