Colorado Springs Bracing for Pikes Peak Speedweek

Pikes Peak Speedweek, June 18-26, is Colorado's premier motorsports event featuring nine days of events and activities for motorsports enthusiasts of all ages.

Speedweek begins on June 18-19 with the Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack, a high octane, high speed, high-speed half mile racing event at the Colorado Springs Airport that brings hundreds of the fastest, most powerful cars and exotics in the world. 

Monday, June 20, is the start of PPIHC Race Week with tech inspection at the World Arena followed by practice and qualifying on Pikes Peak June 21-24. Friday, June 24, marks the return of the biggest party of the week, PPIHC FanFest, where top competitors, exhibitors and personalities celebrate with fellow enthusiasts.

Saturday, June 25 in Woodland Park, CO, The Rocky Mountain Super Enduro matches motorcycle racers in wit and speed in a hybrid motorcycle competition where racers maneuver off-road motorcycles over a course pockmarked with logs, earth-mover tires, boulders, rocks and water crossings.

Speedweek culminates on Sunday, June 26, with the 100th Anniversary & 94th Running of The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, brought to you by Gran Turismo.  Watch and experience the world's top drivers attempt to tame America's mountain.  Competitors in cars, motorcycles and variations of each will attempt to conquer the course's 12.42 miles, 156 turns and the elements in pursuit of the overall record of 8:13.878!
