The Colorado Springs Sports Corporation (Sports Corp) and the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region are excited to announce their partnership in co-hosting the Colorado Senior Games presented by Medicare Mentors, set to take place from June 6-8, 2025, in Colorado Springs. This landmark event marks the nationwide celebration of senior athleticism and community, bringing back a long-awaited opportunity for Colorado seniors to showcase their talents and stay active. Leveraging their event expertise, Sports Corp and the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region are bringing this exciting celebration of athleticism and community spirit to seniors throughout Colorado.
The Colorado Senior Games will feature a wide array of sports and activities tailored for participants aged 50 and older, including track and field, pickleball, and more. The event aims to promote health, wellness, and camaraderie among senior athletes, while also highlighting the vibrant spirit of Colorado’s senior community.

Boyd Williams, CEO and President of the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event: "The YMCA, serving locally for nearly 150 years, remains the largest provider of programs and activities for older adults in the Pikes Peak Region and remains committed to building community. As a member of the National Senior Games Association (NSGA), the Colorado Senior Games will be the official State Senior Games for Colorado and a qualifying event for the National Senior Games.

Registration for the Colorado Senior Games will open on February 1, 2025. Seniors of all skill levels are encouraged to participate, whether they are seasoned athletes or looking to try something new.
