A yard sale at the Mobile County Sportsplex? Yes! In lacrosse, a “yard sale” happens when a player gets checked and loses their stick—or a few pieces of equipment—on the field. Want to learn more about the game’s unique language? Watch the action firsthand! Approximately 80 teams from South Alabama, Louisiana, and Florida will compete in the Northern Gulf Lacrosse Alliance Tournament. Boys’ and girls’ teams from kindergarten through 8th grade will take the field at the Mobile County Sportsplex on March 21–22. Admission is free for spectators, so bring the family and enjoy a weekend of fast-paced spring competition.

Lace up your running shoes! It's time for the annual Azalea Trail Run. For 48 years, the annual Azalea Trail Run has served as one of the first signs of spring in the Mobile community. This year, participants take to the streets on Saturday, March 28. Both the 10K and 5K races are RRCA-sanctioned with USATF-certified courses. All races, including the 2K Fun Run/Walk, are flat, fast surfaces.

Wheelchairs: This is a 10K race only and is held in accordance with rules set by Wheelchairs U.S.A.

This annual invitational is a 54-hole national golf tournament featuring top college teams from several different major conferences across the country. Conferences represented include Atlantic 10, Big 12, American, Conference USA, Big East, ACC, and Sun Belt. The popular event is co-hosted by the University of South Alabama Men's Golf Team and the Mobile Sports Authority.

Tournament play is Sunday, March 29, through Tuesday, March 31, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. daily. It is open to the public and admission is free.
