Mobile is bringing the spring sports. Here’s a look ahead.

April 13 - 15
The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Sectionals Tennis Tournament will be held April 13 - 15 at the Mobile Tennis Center. Top finishers qualify for the AHSAA State Tournament at the Mobile Tennis Center the following week.

April 20 - 24
Mobile to host the AHSAA Alabama State Tennis Championship Tournament! This Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) championship tournament will feature qualified schools from all over the state competing for their respective class state championships.
Event Schedule:
April 20-21: Class 4A-5A, 7A
April 23-24: Class 1A-3A, 6A
Mobile Convention Center and The Land at Saraland
April 24 - 26
This tournament marks the 29th year of the USA Volleyball Gulf Coast Regional Championship. More than 200 teams from coastal Mississippi, Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle will compete in this two-day regional championship to earn a bid to the USA Junior Volleyball National Championships.
Grassroots play is April 24 at the Mobile Convention Center and begins at 5:40 pm. Admission is $5 for all spectators 12 & older (free for anyone 11 and uncder).
Gulf Coast Region Championship is April 25 - 26 at the Mobile Convention Center and The Land at Saraland. Doors open daily at 7 am. Admission at the Mobile Convention Center is s $10 per day for all spectators 12 & older (free for anyone 11 & under). Admission is $12 per day at The Land at Saraland for all spectators 12 & older (free for anyone 11 & under). There are no weekend passes for this tournament.
Parking is $20 per day at the Mobile Convention Center.

The Serve It Up With Love Tennis Tournament is the largest USTA-sanctioned charity tennis tournament in Alabama and won the USTA Alabama Charity of the Year Award in 2012 and 2021. Men's, women's, and junior tournaments will be featured during this two-day tournament.
The tournament raises much-needed funds to benefit the Mobile Child Advocacy Center. This is the largest fundraiser for the Child Advocacy Center raising $90,000 - $100,000 each year. The mission of the Child Advocacy Center is to act as a community response to the problem of child abuse with the goal of providing a wide range of services in one central location for sexually and/or physically abused children and their non-offending family members to help facilitate their healing process.
