TREW Gear is excited to announce the release of six short films and the launch of the 2025 TREW To You Film Tour, a celebration of grassroots creativity in the ski and snowboard world. The tour will crisscross North America throughout October and November, stopping at each team’s home base for premiere screenings, community gatherings, and audience voting that, along with a judges’ panel, will help determine which team wins the $15,000 grand prize.
Now in its third season, TREW To You showcases the work of six teams selected from hundreds of applications for their filmmaking ability, unique perspectives, and creativity in the mountains. Each team received funding, TREW outerwear, and gear from presenting partner Hestra Gloves, along with a single creative prompt: “Switch.” Over the course of six months of filming, these teams interpreted the theme in their own way, embracing transformation, adaptability, and fresh approaches to snowsports storytelling.
The result is grassroots filmmaking at its finest. These aren’t big-budget productions or influencer-driven branded content—they’re authentic stories from real communities. Each film brings a unique voice and perspective, showcasing local stomping grounds, the personalities behind the lens, and yes, plenty of powder shredding and airtime.
“TREW To You has become the centerpiece of our season,” said Jess Joyner, TREW Culture and Community. “We look forward to getting on the road and celebrating these incredible individuals and their creations. There is no better way to connect with our incredible community.”
