USRowing is excited to announce a new partnership with goodr, the bold sunglasses brand focused on creating functional and affordable active eyewear for anyone. The agreement runs through the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
As part of the partnership, goodr will provide sunglasses and additional resources to support USRowing national team athletes, coaches, and staff during training and competition. goodr’s polarized lenses with UV400 protection are designed to help reduce glare and provide eye protection as rowers spend long periods training outdoors in the bright sun and on the water.
The sunglasses feature secure, lightweight frames engineered to remain in place during high-intensity movement with no slip, no bounce technology. In addition, goodr’s Tidal G frame is designed to float in water, helping prevent the loss of eyewear during on-water training and competition.
“Rowers spend countless hours outdoors,” said Amanda Kraus, CEO of USRowing. “Partnering with goodr allows us to provide our community with eyewear that performs at the highest level while embracing the fun, inclusive spirit that makes our sport special.”
Committed to inclusivity, joy, and breaking down the barriers of performance gear, goodr creates functional, fun, and affordable sunglasses for runners, rowers, and anyone living an active lifestyle.
“Teaming up with USRowing ahead of the 2028 Olympics is exciting,” said goodr CEO and co-founder Stephen Lease. “They bring the power. We bring the shades. Rowers train in the hot, the cold, with wind, with glare, and whatever else the water throws at them. That’s why we build performance sunglasses that stay put and look fresh. So USRowing can focus on what matters most…chasing down the competition and that podium team photo.”
Together, USRowing and goodr are committed to supporting athletes with practical, accessible gear that meets the demands of the sport as they train and compete on the international stage.
