The team at Endurance Sports TV (ESTV) is continuing to celebrate the best endurance athletes around the world as the World Rowing Indoor Championships goes virtual and is broadcast live around the world.

With over 1000 participants from over 50 countries around the world getting together, the action launched this week (Tuesday) brings together competitors virtually through the latest technology to allow competitive racing.

“Sport has had to adapt, and the World Rowing Indoor Championships are no different,” said Peter Tomlinson, founder of Endurance Sports TV.

“The event has not only recreated the live event, but also gathered video feeds from around the world to create an engaging live programme to follow the action.”

With an official world championship status, the World Rowing Indoor Championships changes venue each year, showcasing an international sport and bringing the best athletes from all corners of the globe together. However, this year organisers drew on advancements in technology to host the event virtually.

Tomlinson added “We’ve had hundreds of people around the world tune into the action in yesterday’s live broadcast, with more action on the channel today, and the finals taking place on Saturday 27th.”
