The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) has announced its newest Official Corporate Partner in MileSplit, a premier nationwide online network for cross country and track and field coverage and registration.

MileSplit, which began operations in 2001, works with state webmasters to facilitate the business and publishing processes associated with the management of track and field and cross country meets. Its elaborate network is then able to provide in-depth coverage at the local, grassroots level from one state to the next. Simultaneously, these state portals distribute content to a national database that expands MileSplit’s unprecedented depth of national coverage. The scope of that national coverage allows readers to view many of the vital aspects of tracking the sports – results, rankings, articles, videos, photos, statistics and more.

We are glad to have MileSplit join the NFHS family as an Official Corporate Partner,” said Dr. Karissa Niehoff, NFHS executive director. “Through its extensive database, MileSplit has seamlessly linked the cross country and track and field communities. That ongoing endeavor has ultimately provided the NFHS membership and others the ability to experience MileSplit’s relentless, thorough coverage in one location.”

Through the multi-year partnership, MileSplit becomes the Official Cross Country and Track and Field Registration Platform of the NFHS. When schools offer registration through MileSplit’s platform, it assists MileSplit in more effectively covering the sport in areas ranging from planning coverage schedules to previewing upcoming meets. In turn, student-athletes and events can receive increased recognition.

Additional benefits received by MileSplit include the ability to produce digital and print advertisements to be distributed via email, web, rules publications and NFHS’ High School Today magazine. MileSplit may provide relevant sport-related content for high school coaches and teams through NFHS.org, NFHS publications and NFHS social channels. Exhibit space, promotional materials and daily broadcast spots will also be featured as part of the agreement at the National Athletic Directors Conference (NADC), NFHS Summer Meeting and NFHS Winter Meeting.

“We are honored to partner with the NFHS,” said Alonso Rodriguez, senior manager of business development at FloSports. “We share a common vision of growing the sport of track and field and cross country through cost-effective meet management solutions, real-time live event scoring, and media coverage that highlights athletes of all abilities. We are looking forward to working with the NFHS for years to come.”
