The International Senior Softball Association is kicking off 2016 with several confirmed tournaments, expected to draw the world’s best senior teams.

TAMPA, FLORIDA:  Over 100 senior softball teams have entered the 2016 ISSA/ISF World Tournament of Champions to be played in the Tampa Bay Region of Florida on January 29-31. The event will include both Men's and Women's divisions and played on at least 24 fields at six parks. The teams have qualified through the ISSA Championship Series of events this year and in addition, senior teams that won a tournament or league in other organizations can seek entry in the event. Teams planning on playing should submit the ISSA Online Entry Form immediately to reserve their spot in the tournament. Divisions have now been assigned to the various complexes which fixes the maximum number of senior teams for the assigned divisions at each park.  The deadline for entry is December 31, 2015, now just a couple weeks away.  All senior teams are reminded to deliver their entry fee to the ISSA Office by the deadline to finalize their entry.  Anyone with questions about the WTOC should call Greg Thomas at 571-220-0158 or email issa94@aol.com.

MANASSAS, VIRGINIA: The 2016 ISSA Tournament schedule has been posted on the ISSA Website to assist teams in planning their 2016 team schedule. Senior teams should periodically check the website for updated information as discussions are on-going with several other host communities to hold 2016 events.  Some new confirmed tournaments include ones at Temple, TX and Huntsville, AL and dates for Panama City Beach, FL, Jacksonville, NC, Crown Point, IN, Rockford, IL, Salisbury/Ocean City, MD, Cincinnati, OH and Myrtle Beach, SC have been adjusted.  Some dates were changed to meet team requests and others to avoid holiday weekends.  Additional ISSA senior tournaments are being planned for Florida, Texas and Arizona for 2016.
