Rock ’n’ Roll Half Marathon Series Expands International Reach

The Rock ’n’ Roll Marathon Series® announced today it added a new event to its international tour that will take place in Santiago, Chile. The inaugural edition of the Rock ‘n’ Roll® Santiago Half Marathon is scheduled for November 17, 2018 with registration for the event now open.
 
For the first time, a South American venue will be represented in the worldwide Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series, bringing together music and thousands of runners who will be excited to discover this new unique and exceptional race community. The new event will include both half marathon and 10K distance races, as well as live music on stages located along a scenic route through beautiful parks, barrios, streets and historical sites. The unique musical race experience will culminate with a headliner concert at the finish line, a great festival for both runners and spectators.

It will be a unique and fantastic experience for all that participate.”
 
Event weekend in Santiago kicks off with a two-day Health and Fitness Expo, where participants will be able to collect their race packets and bib numbers on November 16 and 17. The Expo will include health and running exhibitors offering samples of sports nutrition products and interactive clinics. With a  focus on bringing fun to the run with great music in a community environment, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Santiago Half Marathon will feature music throughout the race, on-course nutrition, and specialized features for family, friends, and the surrounding community.
