Officials: Daytona Beach Half Marathon to Return in 2014

Organizers have announced the planned return of the 2014 Daytona Beach Half Marathon, which starts and ends on the Daytona International Speedway.

The event, which will take place on Sunday, February 14, 2014, opens for registration today.

On the event website, organizers note that runners can “Experience the thrill of Budweiser Speedweeks just like the drivers... on the track at the Daytona International Speedway! Lace up your tires, as the 13.1 mile course starts on the pit road and begins with a lap around the storied tri-oval. The route continues to the World's Most Famous Beach before returning to the Speedway for the finish and your trip to Gatorade Victory Lane.”
