OCR Russia and World OCR, the Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles (FISO), announced that the 2020 FISO World Championships will be held at Rosa Khutor Ski Resort, the “Switzerland” of Russia, Olympiyaskaya street, 35, Esto sadok. Events take place September 17-20.
OCR Russia President Mr. Dennis Annikov announced that “OCR Russia is proud to host FISO World Championships in 2020. Our organisation and production partner, Hero League, have world level event experience including Olympic and other International Multisport Games since 2014. We plan on providing a truly world class experience for OCR athletes from across the globe."
“World OCR is thrilled to collaborate with OCR Russia and Hero League on next year’s World Championships,” said World OCR President, Mr. Ian Adamson. “This event provides athletes representing national federations in 90 countries the opportunity to complete against the best OCR athletes in the world. Events include Ninja OCR (160 m), 3 km and 12+ km cross country OCR formats and team relay.”
Rosa Khutor, world ski resort announced that “As we learned that Russia will host the World OCR Championship, we immediately proposed to hold it on our site, as this is a very symbolic place where the 2014 Winter Olympics took place.”
