Drivers Asked to Race Their LeMons (Get It? Get It?) to Open the Season

The 24 Hours of LeMons racing series will be running their 2nd annual event at Barber Motorsports Park, the ‘Shine Country Classic. The 24 Hours of LeMons race organization is a fun and affordable way for amateur and professional drivers to go endurance racing.

Teams are required to race cars that cost no more than $500. These $500 or less cars (a.k.a. Lemons) will be put to the test through races lasting anywhere from 6 to 24 hours in length. Drivers and cars will be challenged to see who can travel the longest distance during the scheduled 13 and ½ hours of racing at Barber. The ‘Shine Country Classic is the first spectator racing event on the 2015 Barber Motorsports Park calendar.

The event will run Saturday, February 7th through Sunday, February 8th  at Barber Motorsports Park Paddock, 6040 Barber Motorsports Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35094
