The Under Armour Underclass Tryouts and Tournament are hands down the best gathering of lacrosse talent each summer and THE premier recruiting tool to get in front of a future coach. Contend for the opportunity to represent your region while going head to head with the very best in your area.
Tryouts are open to any and all eligible players in the 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 graduation classes. New in 2016: Each Underclass Region will be split into two divisions. 2017s and 2018s will compete in the Highlight Division while 2019s and 2020s will battle for a spot in the Command Division. Athletes will only play against those in the same division at tryouts and the tournament.

The Under Armour Underclass tournament will be represented by: Baltimore, Canada, Long Island (NY), the Midwest, Philadelphia, New England, New Jersey, South, Southwest, Upstate New York, Washington, D.C., and the West. Once the teams are selected, players will come to Towson University in Baltimore the weekend of June 30 - July 3 to participate in the tournament in front of lacrosse fans and college coaches, and to be crowned the Under Armour Underclass Champions.
ELIGIBILITY: Boys and girls who, in July 2016, will have just completed their 8th grade (grad. year - 2020), freshman (grad. year - 2019), sophomore (grad year- 2018) or junior (grad year- 2017) season. You must live within the geographic region* for the team you are trying out for and be in good academic standing.
SELECTION: Each player must register for their geographic region*. Players will be judged by a panel of knowledgeable sources including coaching experts from that region. Players will be chosen based on position and their performance at that day's tryout. Selection Process (more info on guidelines and rules)
*Regional tryouts are recommended by state/location. The athlete has the choice to tryout for any region, which is most convenient for their schedule.
ATHLETE BENEFITS: College Coaches from DI, DII & DIII lacrosse programs will be invited to attend both the regional tryouts as well as the games in Baltimore. Participants who play in the Underclass Tournament will have the inside track to being exposed to the selection committee of the Under Armour All-America team which they will be eligible for once they are seniors. All participants will receive an Under Armour Tech Tee and Under Armour tryout pinnie at check-in. Players that make the final rosters will also receive full Under Armour uniforms, a ticket to the All-American game on July 3rd, and other Under Armour apparel.
