Bob’s Machine Shop and the Association of Collegiate Anglers are pleased to announce their continued partnership to support collegiate fishing.   As a result of this continued relationship, Bob’s Machine will offer college anglers a 30% off discount program, and  continue to reach collegiate anglers throughout the nation at each of the Collegiate Bass Fishing Series events in 2023, including the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops.

“Bob’s is very excited to be working with the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. The young anglers are the future of our sport and we are looking forward to seeing them all progress into the next generation of big-name pros,” said Steve Pelini with Bob’s Machine.  “Bob’s is proud to make our jack plates in house on our own CNC mills, and continuing to make the fastest, and strongest jack plates on the market.”

Bob’s Machine Shop was founded in 1978, with the belief that quality creates its own demand. Their mission is simple: to provide the best products and service to customers at the lowest prices possible. Bob’s Machine takes great pride in their company, including commitment to customer service and in the products they sell.

“The ACA is excited to announce this continued partnership with Bob’s Machine,” said Kyle Curry, ACA Managing Director.  “Year after year, Bob’s Machine demonstrates unwavering support of collegiate anglers.  This support includes on-site activation and the opportunity to purchase products at a discounted rate.”

About the Association of Collegiate Anglers

The Association of Collegiate Anglers (ACA) is a division of CarecoTV that was created to facilitate growth, development, and structure within competitive collegiate bass fishing, with emphasis on competitive events nationwide.  The ACA created the original BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Series 18 seasons ago. That single event has evolved into the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series, which is now recognized as the longest-running consecutive collegiate bass fishing series in existence.

The ACA owns the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series, Bass Pro Shops School of Year presented by Abu Garcia program, and associated assets.   The ACA lineup of major college fishing events includes a variety of tournaments nationwide that are multi-day tournaments, all of which are televised on several networks, as well as streamed on a variety of connected platforms.   The ACA also provides support to numerous schools operating regional events nationwide which helps to grow the exposure and awareness of college fishing.

Thanks in part to the large diversity of media exposure the ACA provides, the series boasts the largest amount of televised and streaming coverage of any collegiate fishing series. This includes a dedicated television series on numerous television networks and streaming platforms, as well as additional coverage of select events inside other programs.  This combination includes coverage from Discovery Channel, CBS Sports, Pursuit Channel, as well as other regional and national networks.  You can also find coverage online at any time of past events thanks to coverage on OutdoorActionTV.com and PursuitUp.com
