'World's Toughest Bike Race' Kicks Off From Oceanside, CA

Solo Racers and Teams Gather in Oceanside from Over 15 Countries Around The World

Race Across America (RAAM) Powered by Trane, the world's toughest endurance bicycle race, is celebrating its 32nd year with an official press conference hosted by Trane in Oceanside, Calif. on June 10. The conference precedes the departure of 41 solo racers, who will begin their 3,000 mile coast-to-coast race ending in Annapolis, Md. on June 11th. They will be followed by 35 teams who depart from the Oceanside start line on June 15th.
