USA Cycling has announced its 2014 Spring Classic ProGRT & Super D, to be held Thursday, May 15 through Monday, May 19. This mountain bike event, the first of the season, is one of the most eagerly looked forward to of the year. It will be held in Vernon, New Jersey.
Back for the 3rd year, The Mountain Creek Spring Classic brings out the best local, national and international riders to New Jersey for some great racing action. Racers will compete for double points in the USA Cycling ProGRT Series as well as the Eastern States Cup Atlantic Series. The race will also mark the USA Cycling New Jersey State DH Championships!
A full weekend is planned. Organizers will be running the Eastern States Cup Super D race on Saturday in conjunction with the ProGRT Downhill and also will be throwing a pre-race concert with The Amish Outlaws Friday night in the Red Tail Lodge and hosting our Kids Fun Race on Sunday before the ProGRT Finals.
The Spring Classic is not to be missed. Mark your calendars to join some of the world’s best mountain bikers at Mountain Creek Bike Park this May 15-18th
