South Florida's Interactive Youth Sports Experience is back!

What: The Kids' Fitness Festival of the Palm Beaches is owned and produced by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission and presented by Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida.

Where: Americraft Expo Center at the South Florida Fairgrounds

When: Thursday, July 16th and Friday, July 17th, 2009 from 10am – 4pm

Why: The Kids' Fitness Festival offers something for every child under the age of 13. Elementary and middle school children can participate in over 40 traditional and nontraditional sport clinics hosted by the area's leading instructors, or they can hang out in the midway, play games and interact with professional athletes and mascots. Parents will also enjoy an educational expo, food and interactive games.

A complete list of the sport clinics offered at this year's festival are: archery, badminton, baseball, basketball, boat racing, bowling, cheerleading, dance, darts, fencing, fishing, fitness, football, golf, gymnastics, hanet ball, hockey, judo, karate, lacrosse, malletball, netball, polo, rugby, running, skateboarding, soccer, surfing, tae kwon do, tai chi, tennis, total sports training and wrestling.

Price per child is $17, parents are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door. A special pricing package is available of children for unemployed parents go to www.palmbeachsports.com/kff for details.
