Multiple Olympic medalists Alistair and Jonny Brownlee are joining the Quest Adventure Series Team.

Quest Adventure Series provides thousands of participants the opportunity to run, kayak and cycle in the most epic and demanding landscapes across the globe. Alistair and Jonny live this life every day; training, running, swimming and cycling in adventurous environments and racing around the world. With the Quest team, they want to make this experience, this way of life, available to everyone.

This hugely popular one day adventure race concept, started in 2012 with 500 participants braving the elements in the rugged Irish landscape and has now grown to 10,000 participants, with 7 planned races across Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland; making it the biggest multi adventure sport event of its kind in the world.

Founder Oliver Kirwan of Elite Event Management said, ‘We’re buzzing to have found our newest Questfinders Jonny and Alistair. They share our ambitions and adventure is a way of life for them, just like us.  I am delighted to welcome these two like-minded people to the Questfinders team and together we will develop the most demanding routes and adventures for our racers. This is a proven mass participation event which is set to grow globally in the coming years. It is great to see this new innovative concept partnering with the best endurance athletes in the world’

Two-time Olympic gold medallist Alistair Brownlee said, ‘Away from the Olympics and ITU competition, Jonny and I live, train and love life in the Yorkshire Dales. Cycling and trail running in amazing surroundings that we’re proud to call home. We’re absolutely delighted to work with the Quest Adventure Series in bringing the world’s best one day adventure races to the UK, starting with Betws-y-Coed Wales. Jonny and I are looking forward to taking part in a Quest adventure race very soon’

As part of team, they will be racing at Quest and will be part of the Questfinders team developing new routes and epic adventures.

Quest is much more than a race, it’s a movement of like-minded people who love to take on a challenge, and it always ends up in an amazing after-race experience in iconic destinations worldwide.
