Westin Lake Mary Sales Manager Joins Daytona Beach CVB

The Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitor’s Bureau has announced that Sam Pollack has joined the five-member sales team as sales manager

“Sam is a skilled sales professional with almost 15 years of experience in group sales,” said Tom Caradonio, executive director of the CVB.  “He has a proven track record of creating new business, nurturing it for the long term and growing.  We’re happy to have him aboard and excited to see the impact he will make.”

Pollack joined the CVB in June and was previously the sales manager at the Westin Lake Mary, where he worked closely with the Seminole County CVB, Sports & Florida Association, Conference Direct, HPS and HelmsBriscoe to increase group bookings.  He was also global accounts manager at HelmsBriscoe for three years prior, continually increased his yearly bookings and achieved a 90 percent closing ratio on new business.
