USRowing is proud to announce a partnership with Velox Visa & Passport Services to serve as the primary passport and visa service provider to USRowing athletes, 75,000 individual members and 1,200 member organizations for the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio.
“In an Olympic year, it’s critical for USRowing to partner with travel services to ensure that our athletes, staff and fans travel to and from the Games with peace of mind,” said Beth Kohl, USRowing Chief Marketing Officer. “Velox Visa was an obvious choice to arrange passport and visa needs for the rowing community. We look forward to working with them in the upcoming year.”
The U.S. National Team has already qualified 13 boats for the Rio Olympics and Paralympics. With many athletes attending the Games, the need for a dedicated visa provider is critical.
“Velox Visa & Passport Services will deliver a premier customer experience for the USRowing family and ensure travel documents are swiftly and securely obtained for those traveling to and from the Games,” said Andrew J. Campbell, president of Velox Visa & Passport Services. “We are honored to partner with USRowing to provide our full continuum of international travel resources and to do our part to contribute to a world class showing in Rio.”
Benefits of this partnership will also be available to USRowing members who plan to attend the Games. Velox will make a donation to the U.S. National team for every transaction made.
