Multisport Athletes to Benefit from Wide Range of Recovery Products

USA Triathlon announced today that DJO Global, a leading provider of high-quality, orthopedic devices with a broad range of products used for rehabilitation, pain management and physical therapy, has made a commitment to serve as an official Silver-Level Sponsor through 2014.

Designated as a sponsor of the recovery zone at USA Triathlon-owned National Championship events, DJO Global offers products such as DJO Cold Therapy and Fast Freeze, designed to provide soothing pain relief from sore muscles and joints, backaches and tendonitis.

In addition to cold therapy products, DJO Global's Compex line will be introduced to members through the partnership, allowing safe customization of training to exercise more muscle fibers in less time and to recover more quickly, which in turn gives athletes an opportunity to achieve peak performance every day.

DJO Global and Compex will support USA Triathlon members and endurance athletes as an Official Sponsor of USA Triathlon-Certified Training and Performance Centers. Certified centers are currently located in nine cities throughout the U.S. For more information about certified centers is available at usatriathlon.org.

The partnership will also provide support to the USA Triathlon National Team.

"We are excited about our partnership with USA Triathlon. We look forward to providing USA Triathlon's top-level athletes and coaches with the training tools they need to achieve peak performance," said Ryan Dolan, Sales and Marketing Director for DJO Global and Compex. "We will also be partnering with various Certified Training and Performance Centers around the country to provide consistent training and recovery products as needed."
