USA Triathlon Announces Partnership with AfterShokz

USA Triathlon has announced a partnership with AfterShokz, the leading manufacturer of bone conduction headphone technology, as the organization’s official headphone.

AfterShokz manufactures open-ear headphones that enable users to hear ambient noise in their surrounding environments — giving athletes the freedom to listen to all that motivates them, without compromising their own safety or the safety of others.

The bone conduction technology transmits sound via mini vibrations through the cheekbone to the inner ear, bypassing the eardrums. This leaves users’ ears open to hear traffic, environmental hazards, and other runners and pedestrians.

AfterShokz will also partner with select members of the U.S. Triathlon National Team and Toyota U.S. Paratriathlon National Team.
