USA Triathlon has extended its partnership with Body Glide – the maker of skin protection for wetsuit rash, chafing, foot blisters and raw skin – through 2024. Body Glide is one of the national governing body’s longest-standing partners, having first teamed up with USA Triathlon in 2001.
As USA Triathlon’s Exclusive Sport Lubricant, Body Glide has provided support for triathletes in their racing and training for more than two decades. USAT adds that Body Glide ‘products are reliable, plant-based, vegan, petroleum-free, do not undergo animal testing and are designed to be safe on skin and on wetsuits.’
Body Glide has long been recommended with sales and rentals of wetsuits for triathlon, open water swimming and surfing to enable faster and more comfortable wetsuit entry and exit, which is important for triathletes to save valuable time in transition. In addition, the product is used to prevent blisters, chafing and irritation during sport activity from head to toe. It is also a supplier to the US military.

In addition, Body Glide will serve as the presenting partner of USAT’s Athlete Checklist, to be shared with athletes competing at all USA Triathlon-owned National Championships (Toyota Age Group Sprint and Olympic-Distance, Collegiate Club, Youth & Junior and Duathlon), as well as a new ‘Essentials Video’ that will present key elements of successful triathlon training and competition.
