US Youth Soccer, the nation’s largest youth sports organization, is pleased to announce Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) -- a national non-profit developing Better Athletes, Better People through resources for youth and high school sports -- as an Official Supplier of US Youth Soccer.

The two-year partnership provides US Youth Soccer members with access to hundreds of PCA tips and tools that further the education of coaches, parents, administrators and youth athletes in both improving athletic performance and imparting life lessons through sports.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Positive Coaching Alliance,” said US Youth Soccer Chairman John Sutter. “US Youth Soccer welcomes PCA and looks forward to supplementing our tools and educational resources to benefit our more than 3 million youth members and 900,000 administrators, coaches and volunteers.”

PCA has partnered with nearly 3,000 schools and youth sports organizations nationwide to deliver live group workshops, online courses and books by PCA Founder Jim Thompson that create a positive, character-building youth sports culture.  The US Youth Soccer-PCA partnership offers US Youth Soccer members discounts for online courses and special offers to member clubs for full PCA partnerships that include live workshops. Also, PCA will present workshops at select US Youth Soccer events and will provide educational content through US Youth Soccer e-newsletters.

“PCA is extremely excited to support US Youth Soccer through our educational resources and help to create a positive impact on the millions of youth served by US Youth Soccer,” said PCA Founder and CEO Jim Thompson. “Together our organizations will impart good sportsmanship, which we call ‘Honoring the Game,’ as well as many other life lessons in areas such as teamwork and overcoming adversity that develop better athletes, and more importantly better people.”

PCA gains support from a National Advisory Board, including US Youth Soccer alums Brandi Chastain, Joy Fawcett, Julie Foudy, Alexi Lalas, Kristine Lilly and Claudio Reyna and many other top coaches, athletes, organization leaders and academics who share PCA’s mission.
