Longest-Running Partnership on Record Renews for Another Year

Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) signed a three year contract with HEAD Penn, extending its longstanding partnership to a history making 38 years!  The relationship between PTR and HEAD began in January 1983, when Dennis Van der Meer signed the first agreement with HEAD racquets.  Now HEAD is the official racquet, bag, ball, string, grip and youth equipment of PTR in the United States through December 2021.

As part of the agreement, PTR will continue to promote HEAD Penn brands, and HEAD will provide PTR members with preferred pricing, as well as the opportunity for equipment sponsorship through the Team Head program.

“We’re incredibly excited to extend the partnership with PTR,” said Greg Mason, President of HEAD USA Racquet Sports.  “Over the years, we have seen PTR’s incredible professionalism, commitment to growing the game of tennis, and being the leader in continuing education for the world’s teaching pros.  We’ve both been having great success and we’re looking forward to continuing to grow together.”
