2XU Joins USA Triathlon for Multiyear Partnership

USA Triathlon entered an exclusive partnership for the compression wear category with 2XU, an endurance sports apparel company, designating the company as a Silver-Level Sponsor of the National Governing Body through August 2020.

“Proper recovery is a cornerstone of high performance in endurance sport,” said Andy Schmitz, USA Triathlon High Performance GM. “As such, we are excited to provide USA Triathlon’s National Team athletes with access to 2XU’s specially engineered compression solution as they take aim at podium finishes on the ITU circuit.”

2XU will supply compression wear to members of the USA Triathlon and USA Paratriathlon National Teams. 2XU will also provide the premium gift for USA Triathlon’s four owned National Championship events: Age Group Nationals, Collegiate Club Nationals, Duathlon Nationals and Youth & Junior Nationals. USA Triathlon annual members will receive a 20 percent discount on 2XU products, including the company’s full line of compression tights, tops, socks and other training gear.

Additionally, 2XU has developed limited-edition USA Triathlon-branded compression apparel line called Stars n’ Stripes. The Stars n’ Stripes line will be available in April at usatstore.com, the National Governing Body’s official online store operated by Trisports.com.
