The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) has agreed to a corporate partnership with Beyond Pulse, a wearable technology company designed to help coaches and athletes with improved performance through training.

Founded in Portland, Oregon, in 2017, Beyond Pulse was started to help coaches better understand the health and performance of their players. The BP technology delivers personalized development insights to help athletes and coaches with feedback on performance, recovery and development through key indicators such as player workload, distance covered, speed, high impact sprints and calories.

“The NFHS is excited to welcome Beyond Pulse to its team as a new corporate partner,” said Dr. Karissa Niehoff, CEO of the NFHS. “We are pleased that Beyond Pulse is committed to coaches education and student-athlete health. These advances in technology from Beyond Pulse can assist high school students through practice and training to achieve higher levels of performance. We look forward to working with Beyond Pulse through this partnership.”

“We’re thrilled to be joining forces with the NFHS to enhance high school athletics,” said Marc-André Maillet, Beyond Pulse’s CEO and co-founder. “This true partnership, built on a mutual commitment to coaches’ education and student-athlete health, will allow high school players across the country to progress in their sports through our smart wearable technology.

“Beyond Pulse strives to create high school training environments that manage player fatigue, help decrease risk and prevent injuries, and most of all facilitate healthy and enjoyable experiences for youth players to develop to their fullest potential.

“Beyond Pulse aims to continue its impact on data literacy among youth players. With each training session, youth players can effectively make use of their data to improve and develop intuitive insights into their own physical wellbeing. Our shared mission with the NFHS is to enrich training experiences and help players stay resilient in the sports that they love.”

Individuals interested in connecting with a Beyond Pulse staff member to learn more about the available options for athletes and coaches can schedule a call with one of the Beyond Pulse coaches.
