San Diego Tourism Authority Closing Doors

Business will be Shuttered Monday Unless City Releases Funding

San Diego’s tourism agency says it will shut its doors Monday because the city has not released funds that will pay employees.

An article in the San Diego Union-Tribune described the situation.

 Also shutting down Monday is the downtown visitors center, where tickets to local attractions can be purchased, said Tourism Authority spokesman Darren Pudgil.
