It's time for Sports Destination Management to recognize sports tourism leaders who have contributed to the industry of sports tourism. We need your help to salute those who have helped sports tourism grow to become the economic juggernaut it is.
We are looking for successful events that have made an outstanding economic impact. This includes all types of sports events, at all levels of play.
Big or small - from the largest sporting event in the world to an event that took up every hotel in town - we want to know about it.
There is no charge to enter the program, and we welcome all our readers to do so. We want to hear about everything from traditional sports to niche sports to emerging sports to sports that might be brand-new to readers.
You do not need to be a subscriber, an advertiser or a bigwig of any kind. You just need to have an event to enter.
SDM recognizes Champions of Economic Impact in multiple market size categories, and it also has a category called Innovations in Sports Tourism, recognizing unique events and their contributions to the industry. There is a place for your nomination, no matter what type or what size.
