Fastpitch in Eau Claire to Bring Estimated $400,000 Impact

Eau Claire Fury to Offer 47th Annual Classic Fastpitch Softball Tournament

The 47th Annual Eau Claire Classic Fastpitch Softball Tournament will be held in Eau Claire and Altoona June 28 – 30, 2013. This tournament has grown rapidly from last year with an increase in both teams and age groups competing.

Seventy-eight teams with members from Canada and three states in five different age groups will be competing throughout the weekend. Games will be played at Bollinger Field, Gelein and Hobbs Field in Carson Park, DeLong Middle School, Eau Claire North High School, and Altoona. The tournament will begin Friday at 6:00PM and Saturday at 8:00AM with championship games taking place in the afternoon on Sunday. Admission is free and concessions are available.
