It's time for Sports Destination Management to recognize sports tourism leaders who have contributed to the industry of sports tourism in 2020 and/or 2021. We need your help to salute those who have helped sports tourism grow to be a $45 billion industry.
We are looking for successful events that were held in either 2020 or 2021 that have made an outstanding economic impact. This includes all types of sports events, at all levels of play. Big or small – from the largest sporting event in the world to an event that took up every hotel in town – we want to know about it.
New this year is a special category to honor our “Sports Heroes of the Pandemic” – events that took place in 2020 against all odds.
Remember that events in 2020 AND 2021 are eligible; we want to see your best!
