Trek Bicycle has purchased the Wisconsin Off Road Series (WORS). With Don Edberg’s recent retirement, Trek has stepped in to manage the series and build growth.
“We believe that WORS and Don’s endless work on the series has substantially helped grow the mountain bike community in the Midwest,” said Eric Bjorling, Trek’s director of brand. “We are deeply invested in seeing that growth continue.”
Since 1992, Edberg has developed WORS into one of the largest state mountain bike racing series. The series will feature a similar format to previous seasons, with independent race owners working with series leadership.
