Hometown Games Serve as Qualifier for State Summer Games

Athletes are training in athletics (track and field) for the 2013 Special Olympics Wisconsin (SOWI) Hometown Games which will take place in communities across the state in Muskego, Eau Claire, Green Bay, Appleton and Racine on Saturday, May 4, 2013 as well as in Merrill and Oregon on Saturday, May 11, 2013.

The Hometown Games will serve as a qualifier for SOWI’s largest event the State Summer Games held at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on June 6-8, 2013.

Volunteers are needed to escort athletes to their track events, hand out healthy lunches, present awards and more!
