The Real Racine International Triathlon presents a super sprint, sprint and olympic distance triathlons featuring a course in downtown Racine and finishes in the spectacular North Beach Park on the shoreline of Lake Michigan.  The race will start off with a swim in the pristine waters of Lake Michigan, followed by an exciting bike ride in and around downtown Racine and the surround communities and finishing with breathtaking run along the shoreline of Lake Michigan and through the prestigious North Bay and Windpoint communities. The race will culminate with a dramatic finish in North Beach Park in the backdrop of sandy beaches, Lake Michigan and one AWESOME post-race party.

Racine County’s Triathlon History: Racine County’s natural assets – Lake Michigan beaches, rolling countryside and scenic shoreline – have contributed to hosting international triathlons since 2002. The inaugural Wisconsin’s Dairyland Triathlon boasted a sellout field of 1250 participants and more recently the Ironman 70.3 event with a field of more than 2000 participants.  Current and past triathlon superstars have raced in Racine including World Champions Craig Alexander and Miranda Carfrae along with Lisa Bentley, Chris Legh and Andrew Starykowicz. Racine County is a mix of what’s best about Wisconsin and the Midwest. Located in southeastern Wisconsin approximately 30 miles south of Milwaukee and 60 miles north of Chicago. Interstate 94 conveniently links Racine County with Milwaukee, Madison, and Minneapolis to the west, and Chicago and Detroit to the east.

“We are so ready to bring a new, exciting and fresh triathlon to Racine! This is an event for the entire community, for ALL athletes. Whether you are a first-timer trying out the Super Sprint distance or an experienced olympic-distance racer, you will quickly fall in love with all phases of the Real Racine International Triathlon. We even have professional triathletes competing for a $25,000 prize purse. If I can guarantee you one thing on Race Day, it’s excitement. No matter your level or experience, you will not want to miss out on this competition, or the party atmosphere waiting for you at the finish line!” Cari Greving, Event Director at Real Racine.

The Real Racine International Triathlon is a result of a strategic partnership with one of the premier triathlon promoters in the United States, HFP Racing and the Racine County Convention and Visitors Bureau (Real Racine). “HFP Racing is thrilled to be back in Racine and having the opportunity to work with Dave Blank and his team at Real Racine.” Shannon Kurek, Founder HFP Racing.
