Eau Claire Mat Backers Hosts Professional Wrestling Fundraiser

Saturday night the Eau Claire Hotel & Convention Center will host Heavy On Wrestling – a fundraising event for Eau Claire Mat Backers and youth wrestling in the Eau Claire Area. The event, featuring 2012 Olympic Wrestler Chas Betts, and WWE Stars Matt Hardy, Lance Hoyt, and Mr. Ken Anderson, begins at 7:30pm in the Grand Ballroom.

"We are excited to host this event," said Event Director, Kyle Yudes, "which will go towards helping make youth wrestling programs in Eau Claire more affordable while also providing local youth with scholarships for camps, school athletics fees, equipment, and furthering education after high school."

Before the event, fans can come to meet-and-greet their favorite wrestling stars at Pizza Plus beginning at 5:30pm. The match will begin at 7:30pm at the hotel. Tickets are available on the Eau Claire Mat Backers’s Facebook page, and will be available at the door. The VIP experience, which includes the meet-and-greet, is $20 – $10 for general admission – $5 for kids 10 and under.
