Wisconsin Kubb will host the 2013 U.S. National Kubb Championship July 13 – 14, 2013. This tournament – the largest of its kind outside of Europe, and the fifth largest in the world – will feature over 300 players on 88 teams. The estimated Economic Impact on the Eau Claire Area from this event is $121,500.

Games will begin at 9:00AM on Saturday with round robin matches and the play-offs round will start at 1:00PM. Following Saturday’s competition, there will be an "After-Kubb" event at The Fire House in downtown Eau Claire. Quarterfinals begin at 9:00AM on Sunday, and the Championship game will follow after quarterfinals are completed in the afternoon.

The yard game Kubb was born in Sweden and is played throughout Europe. Played primarily in the Nordic countries, Kubb can now be found around the world with tournaments in Europe and in the U.S.A. The two goals of Wisconsin Kubb are to unite and foster better and more meaningful relationships in our communities, and spread Nordic culture.
