The mission of the MASC Youth Grant Program is to provide opportunities for area youth, who may have financial limitations, to experience the benefits of sports. The MASC Youth Grant Program is funded by contributions from the Ironman Community Foundation, private donors and corporations.

We are honored to be a part of a process whose core mission is to engage Dane County youth in sport,” said Vince Sweeney, chair of the Madison Area Sports Commission board. “From the very beginnings of the Sports Commission, our goal has been to have a positive impact on our community. These youth sports grants help us reach that goal,” said????Sweeney.

To date, MASC youth grant funds have helped many area children benefit from an introduction to sports. One of the main objectives of MASC was to give back to the local community. I am extremely proud of the number of organizations and by extension, the number of children we will be able to fund with these grants,” added Jamie Patrick, MASC Director of Sports.

The Madison Area Sports Commission (MASC) is the greater Madison area's official sports marketing organization. Launched by the Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau, MASC is charged with elevating the recognition and awareness of the impact of sports tourism on the regional economy while serving the unique needs of the sports tourism business.
