The Army Ten-Miler (ATM) presented by the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) announced today that this year’s ATM Expo, presented by Navy Federal Credit Union, will move to The St. James Flagship (Basketball Court) located at 6805 Industrial Rd., Springfield, Virginia, due to the unavailability of the DC Armory. This year’s Expo will feature the ATM Gear Store, showcasing the latest ATM branded merchandise as well as official 2025 ATM sponsors, and military Units and activities. Due to space limitations, there will be no vendors or military displays at the Expo. However, static military display will be available at the Youth Zone at the Pentagon, on Race Day.
The only in-person ATM packet pick-up is during the two-day ATM Expo, Friday, Oct. 10 and Saturday, Oct. 11 at The St. James. Runner packets include the race bib, shirt and a bag. Full color 15-month race calendars and pocket guides will be available at the Expo and at the race to everyone, while supplies last.
“We understand the DC Armory has been a long-standing and valued location for the Army Ten-Miler Expo,” said Matt Zimmerman, Army Ten-Miler Race Director. “However, this year we are unable to use the facility as planned. The St. James provides a fantastic alternative, and we are committed to delivering a smooth and enjoyable Expo experience for all participants.”
Conveniently located in Northern Virginia and accessible to major highways such as 95, 395 and 495, the St. James offers a large number of parking spaces and also provides a shuttle service to and from the closest Metro station, Franconia-Springfield. More details will follow on shuttle service schedules.
ATM registration sponsor Active Network recently introduced a bib shipping program in which runners can request that their race shirt and bib be mailed to them in advance. This program is now available to ATM runners as a pilot program for 2025. Runners can select the “Ship My Bib” option during registration, or after they have already registered using ACTIVEMyEvents. The cost of this service for 2025 is $25.
If a runner selected the “Ship My Bib” option either during registration, or through ACTIVEMy Events, they will receive two separate shipments. The first shipment will contain race bibs, and safety pins; while the second shipment will contain the runner shirts and bags. Race bibs are required to get on the racecourse. There is no bib pick up at the Pentagon on race day.
The Army Ten-Miler (ATM) returns on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. EDT in Washington, DC.
