Visit Lubbock Welcomes Two New Sales Managers

Visit Lubbock, the convention and visitors bureau, is pleased to announce the addition of Taryn Hruzek and Katherine McBee as sales managers to the organization’s sales team.

Hruzek’s primary market focus includes religious, military and group tours. McBee’s primary market focus includes education, social, fraternal, wedding and reunion groups. Both Hruzek and McBee’s responsibilities as sales managers are to proactively seek out their respective market groups and promote Lubbock as a convention and meeting destination.

Hruzek is a 2015 graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management. While at the university, she gained hospitality and events experience in Texas Tech organizations like the Residence Hall Association and Office of the President. She was also previously employed at Arbor Inn & Suites where she served as a front desk agent.

Taryn Hruzek
Before joining the Visit Lubbock team, McBee was the event planner for Texas Tech University’s College of Media & Communication. During this time, she helped coordinate lectures and events for the college and created marketing strategies for community engagement. McBee graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a Master of Arts degree in Media and Communication.
