Attendees of USA Triathlon's Endurance Exchange Presented by BOA in January will have the opportunity to dive into the full report and key findings from USA Triathlon’s State of the Sport Survey, which was produced by SRI International and provides valuable insights on the current state of the endurance sports industry.

“This survey is our dashboard. Just like your training software, SRI has created research that gives us benchmarks and goals to chase. We are endurance athletes, this is how we chase the future,” said Earl Walton, USA Triathlon Director of Education. “The survey conducted by SRI will provide the first true ‘post- pandemic’ view of the endurance sports industry and USA Triathlon membership.”

The State of the Sport Survey will be shared Jan. 25, 2023, in Austin, Texas during Endurance Exchange. A panel of endurance sports industry experts will discuss the key trends and strategies industry leaders can implement in 2023 and beyond. USA Triathlon annual members, including coaches, race directors and club leaders were surveyed to help identify key trends in the endurance sports industry.

Fully returning in-person, the industry-wide Endurance Exchange conference for endurance sports athletes and professionals will be held Jan. 23-26 at the Austin Convention Center. To register for Endurance Exchange, visit enduranceexchange.com.

Endurance Exchange also includes the Race Director Summit, a day dedicated exclusively to race directors (Jan. 24), including a panel discussion led by USA Triathlon Race Director Committee co-chairs, Eva Solomon and Joe Fleenor. Race directors will have the opportunity to network with fellow peers and learn via expert-led work sessions — including medical, safety and business planning — and workshops to set them up for their most successful season yet.

Race director-specific content includes marketing your events for a sold-out 2023 season, finding and retaining athletes, how to make your event more sustainable and timing and reporting best practices.

With more than 30 live sessions presented by the industry’s top coaches, race directors and industry professionals, Endurance Exchange will feature a mix of hands-on, experiential learning workshops and lecture experiences to educate athletes, coaches, race directors and more members of the multisport community.

A professional development opportunity, Endurance Exchange offers race directors and USA Triathlon Certified Coaches the chance to earn 12 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). In addition to having access to all sessions, expo and networking happy hours, attendees will be able to access all recorded sessions on-demand until Dec. 31, 2023.

Endurance Exchange will also feature an expo showcasing the endurance sports community's new products, innovations and brands. For sponsorship inquiries and other questions related to Endurance Exchange, please email info@enduranceexchange.com.
