Texas Revolution Announce Move to Frisco

Dr Pepper Arena and the Texas Revolution Professional Indoor Football Team, announced a three-year agreement, which will move Texas Revolution 2018 regular season home games to Frisco.

With the move, the Revolution will join Frisco’s Sports City, U.S.A. community, which includes five professional sports teams, multiple world-class facilities, prestigious medical and sports rehabilitation centers, national and international athletic organizations and an emerging eSports industry.

A celebration and the formal announcement of the Revolution’s move took place Wednesday, August 30 at Dr Pepper Arena. Representatives from the Revolution, Frisco’s five professional sports teams and City of Frisco officials, including Mayor Jeff Cheney, were in attendance.

The Texas Revolution Professional Indoor Football Team is coming off a 59-49 Champions Bowl III win over the Omaha Beef in June. Season ticket packages will be available to purchase at the event. ABOUT THE TEXAS REVOLUTION: The Texas Revolution are a professional indoor football team, playing in Champions Indoor Football League. The Revolution completed their fifth season of competition in 2017 after defeating the Omaha Beef 59-49 in Champions Bowl III in front of 5,251 fans.
