Get ready Texas! MONSTER NATION is back and we’re turning Ford Arena into the SCENE OF THE SMASH! MONSTER NATION Monster Trucks will rumble back into Beaumont’s Ford Arena with 1,800 tons of dirt and smashed metal on February 21-23, 2014!  What has become the premier monster truck event promises to continue wowing fans with SIX 10,000 pound monster machines and much, much more jam-packed into 2 hours of high-flying horsepower.

Back to defend the Monster Nation Freestyle and Racing title is the legendary monster truck BIGFOOT.  But BIGFOOT will have his work cut out as a stacked field of Monsters including OVER BORED, TOXIC, RAMMUNITION, EQUALIZER and RED SOLO TRUCK are looking to steal his crown!

Back by popular demand are the high-flying Freestyle Motocross riders from FMX EAST.  The stars of FMX EAST are out to decide who can pull the big tricks and claim freestyle supremacy! It will be decided forty feet in the in the air inside Ford Arena. It will take some extreme back-flip action to claim the ultimate freestyle trophy!

And what is a Smash Scene without a little fire? Superstar Daredevil BRYAN SPANGLER, son of long-time world famous stuntman, SPANKY SPANGLER, will literally fall into the scene – ON FIRE!  Spangler, one of the stars of the History Channel series AMERICAN DAREDEVIL, will amaze the Monster Nation crowd by plunging from Ford Arena rafters after being doused with gasoline and lit on fire. Bryan has been carrying the family tradition by performing death defying stunts all over the world – and he’s bringing the heat to Monster Nation!

"Monster Nation is a Monster Truck show done right!" one Facebook user commented.  The Monsters will battle in three separate competitions during each performance.  The tailgate-ripping Wheelie Contest is first, where each driver attempts to stand his 10' tall truck straight in the air.  The next event is elimination-style Head to Head racing around an oval course.  But what will certainly complete the scene is the no-rules, no holds barred Demolition Freestyle competition.  The entire floor of the Ford Arena will be open season for the SCENE OF THE SMASH Freestyle competition!

The stars of MONSTER NATION SCENE OF THE SMASH will get up close and personal with fans before each event during the FREE PIT PARTY. Fans can meet the drivers and riders and see the Monster Trucks up close and personal before each performance during the pit party and again immediately following each show. Fans holding an event ticket will be allowed onto the floor of the Ford Arena floor before each event.

MONSTER NATION SCENE OF THE SMASH advance tickets are $25-$23 for adults and $15-$11 for kids 2-12; tickets are $2 more on the day of the show.  They are available NOW at the Ford Park Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets including HEB on Dowlen Road, the Beaumont Civic Center and the Lake Charles Civic Center.  The FREE pit party is open to all ticket holders, and begins 90 minutes before the shows begin.  Show times are 8:00 pm on Friday and Saturday and 3:00 pm on Sunday.
