Olympic veterans and world-class show jumping riders and horses from nine countries will be at the Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas, December 13-19 for the return of the Split Rock Fort Worth CSI4*-W, culminating event of the 2022 Lugano Diamonds Split Rock Jumping Tour (SRJT).

Last year’s inaugural event was so overwhelmingly successful that the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) took the unprecedented step of awarding the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final to a city after hosting an event for only one year. Fort Worth will host the FEI World Cup Finals in Jumping, as well as in Dressage, in April 2026.

“The fact that the FEI awarded the World Cup Final to Fort Worth after only one year of hosting an event is a testament to what the city did in putting on last year’s incredible event,” said Derek Braun, Founder and President of the Split Rock Jumping Tour which produces the event. “The sport of show jumping owes a tremendous amount of gratitude to Erin Davis-Heineking who asked us to bring world-class show jumping to Fort Worth, and to our other local partners including the City of Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Sports Commission.”

Founded in 2015, the SRJT has revolutionized the way the sport of show jumping is presented in the U.S., creating a truly "unparalleled show jumping experience" for competitors, sponsors and spectators alike. SRJT’s first event in Fort Worth last December set a new standard for the sport and drew sell-out crowds of approximately 16,000 attendees over four days.

An action-packed week will showcase a range of competition levels, highlighted by the $250,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Fort Worth, presented by Lugano Diamonds, on Saturday, December 17 at 7:30 p.m. CST.

A top international field representing Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, Portugal and the United States, will compete for the chance to qualify for the 2023 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final which returns to the U.S. for the first time since 2017 next April in Omaha, Nebraska.

Among those entered are Olympic veterans Kent Farrington (USA), Santiago Lambre (MEX), Samuel Parot (CHI), Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA), Will Simpson (USA), and McLain Ward (USA) who has competed in five Olympic Games with two Gold and two Silver medals and was the 2017 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ champion.

Locals will also have hometown favorites to cheer on as Christian Heineking (GER) and Erin Davis-Heineking (USA) of October Hill Farm in the Fort Worth suburb of Hudson Oaks will compete throughout the week. Christian, who competed in the 2017 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final, is no stranger to the SRJT winner’s circle as he holds a Grand Prix title from the 2020 Columbus International II CSI2*.

Tickets starting at $15 are available for the whole week or for individual days at splitrockjumpingtour.com/tickets. Seats in the VIP area can be purchased by contacting sami@splitrockjumpingtour.com.
