Corpus Christi Coastal Classic to Bring a Slam Dunk This Weekend

The Corpus Christi Convention & Visitors Bureau (CCCVB) is pleased to announce the return of NCAA basketball to Corpus Christi!  This weekend, the American Bank Center will host the 2014 Corpus Christi Coastal Classic.

Texas Christian University, Saint Louis University, Mississippi State University, Bradley University, Mississippi Valley University, Radford University and North Carolina A&T University will join with Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi for a stellar battle right here in the Coastal Bend!

Each team will play four games: the first two at campus sites and the final two rounds at the beautiful American Bank Center in Corpus Christi on November 28th & 29th, 2014.

75,000 complimentary tickets for the Corpus Christi Coastal Classic were donated by the CCCVB to all public school students in Nueces and San Patricio Counties last week. Each student received one ticket that provides complimentary admission to the student’s choice of final rounds, either Friday or Saturday.

The schedule for the Coastal Classic tournament is as follows:

Friday, November 28

12:30pm:     North Carolina A&T vs. Radford

3:00pm:       TAMU Corpus Christi vs. Mississippi Valley State

6:00pm:       TCU vs. Bradley (televised)

8:30pm:      Saint Louis vs. Mississippi State (televised)

Saturday, November 29

(Participants are TBD by Friday’s results)

Games at 10:30pm, 1:00pm, 3:30pm and 6:00pm (televised):
