The Beaumont Convention & Visitors Bureau announces a busy second quarter with multiple sports tournaments being held in Beaumont from April through June of 2016. These tournaments are expected to bring an estimated economic impact of $2,672,400 into Beaumont.

“The facilities in Beaumont are great for hosting events. The hotels and restaurants are very accommodating and appreciative of the business that is brought into the city,” says Nara Cole, Tournament Director for Stars Over Texas Softball. "We’ve had the pleasure of working with the Beaumont CVB for the last 10 years and they are always the first ones to call and offer their assistance with any upcoming events we have.”

With 35 fields citywide, Beaumont has established itself as a premier destination for baseball and softball, utilizing the Beaumont Athletic Complex and Ford Park. With the addition of the City of Beaumont’s Municipal Tennis Center, the CVB also expects a rise in tennis tournaments.
