The Abilene Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB), an affiliate of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce, is thrilled to announce that the Early Ford V-8 Club of America's 2026 Annual Texas V-8 Tour will be held in Abilene, April 9-12, 2026.
The Early Ford V-8 Club of America, founded in 1963 in San Leandro, California, is dedicated to the restoration, preservation, and appreciation of Ford Motor Company vehicles built between 1932 and 1953. With more than 9,000 members and 125 regional groups worldwide, the club serves as the marquee organization for enthusiasts of these historic vehicles. Through its award-winning bi-monthly publication, the V-8 Times, the organization provides members with technical articles, restoration tips, expert advice, nostalgia, club news, and classified listings for rare cars and parts, supporting a global community passionate about preserving early Ford history.

The Early Ford Club of America's 2026 Annual Texas V-8 Tour is anticipated to generate 83 hotel room nights with an estimated economic impact of $58,500. Key events will be hosted at the MCM Eleganté Suites.
