The Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau, an affiliate of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce, is thrilled to announce that Abilene has been awarded the bid to host the 2025 Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America (TLBAA) World Expo at the Expo Center of Taylor County from June 18 to June 22, 2025.

The Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America, a nonprofit organization with over 3,800 active adult and junior members, is dedicated to promoting the Texas Longhorn breed and supporting education, youth, and scientific research. Alongside its subsidiaries, Texas Longhorn Trails Magazine, Texas Longhorn Breeders of Tomorrow (TLBT), and the Texas Longhorn Breeders of America Foundation (TLBF), the TLBAA offers a wide range of programs and services for its members and customers.

The 2025 World Expo is expected to draw more than 1,000 attendees to Abilene, contributing significantly to the local economy. The event will generate a total of 642 room nights and an estimated economic impact of $922,500.

The Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau is excited to welcome the TLBAA World Expo to our city and looks forward to providing a memorable experience for all attendees. The Expo Center of Taylor County is well-equipped to host such a large-scale event, and we are confident that Abilene's unique charm and hospitality will make this a standout event for the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America.
